While some of these conditions can be treated, others can be deadly, such as cancer.

Cancer cells can develop for various reasons, like sedentary lifestyles, smoking, alcoholism, sun exposure, and even poor nutrition. Avoiding these habits can reduce the risk of developing certain types of cancer. To help you focus on this, we’ve listed five foods that can increase the number of cancer cells; take a look. The information is from “The Times of India” newspaper.

1 – Processed Meat

Animal proteins like red meat, poultry, fish, and eggs are healthy when consumed in moderation.
These foods in processed form – salting, curing, fermenting, smoking, and other methods – are not good choices and can lead to problems ranging from weight gain to colorectal cancer. This happens due to the process that produces a compound that can be carcinogenic.

2 – Fried Foods

Excessive consumption of fried foods should also be avoided. Studies indicate that the chemical compound called acrylamide, formed at high frying temperatures, can increase oxidative stress and inflammation in the body, which are linked to the growth of cancer cells.

3 – Refined Foods

Refined foods like flour, sugar, or oil are also alarming. Studies suggest that refined sugar and highly processed carbohydrates can also increase the risk of oxidative stress and inflammation in the body, which can cause ovarian, breast, and endometrial cancer.

4 – Alcohol and Carbonated Beverages

Alcohol and carbonated beverages are rich in refined sugar and calories. Excessive consumption of these options can increase the number of free radicals in the body and cause inflammation, making it difficult to diagnose precancerous and cancer cells in the body.

5 – Canned and Instant Foods

Canned and instant foods can also increase the risk of developing cancer. Most of the packaging of these products is coated with a chemical substance called Bisphenol A (BPA), a compound that, when dissolved in food, can cause hormonal imbalances, DNA changes, and cancer.
